When a drawing does not look right

The usual causes, and what to check first.

Nothing, or not everything, is drawn

The drawing area stays emptyChoose a view in Active Section, then click Render.
An object is missingCheck its eye (all views and this view), whether the model hides it (grey italic name), and in SketchUp that it sits inside a group or a component.
A view is missingViews come from the model: add the section plane in SketchUp or the section in Blender, then update Occlusia.
No spot elevation in a planBy design: spot elevations are drawn in sections and elevations only.

A style does not apply

An object lost its styleIt was probably renamed in the model: settings follow names. Copy the old style and paste it on the new name, or rename it back.
Other objects changed tooThey share the same name, or they sit inside the group you edited: a group's change reaches what it contains.
The drawing did not changeRender again: Render is black when the drawing is out of date.
A row is greyedIt does nothing with the current choice: Fill Type NONE or SOLID, Line Type NONE, or Wireframe on.

Hatches and lines

A hatch looks grey or emptyIts scale does not suit the drawing: raise Scale when it reads as grey, lower it when the pattern is lost.
Lines differ in my CAD softwareWith ByLayer ticked, the DXF takes the layer's colour, weight or type: check the layer in the Layers library.
Dashes too long or too shortAdjust Type Scale in the object's line settings.

Files and exports

A SketchUp file is refusedFiles saved by SketchUp 2020 or older are not read: save it again in SketchUp 2021 or later.
The model is tinyThe file declares the wrong unit: import it again and answer Read as metres when Occlusia asks.
A DXF or PDF export failsThese exports need a connection to Occlusia's conversion service, and an account signed in. Try again; an SVG export is made in your browser, without the service.
Safari or Firefox asks nothingThese browsers save to the downloads folder: look there, one file per view.
