Your 3D model Your drawing standard

Occlusia turns your 3D models’ sections into consistent 2D technical drawings — without having to redraw, clean up, reassign layers, or restyle for every new project.

Keep working in the 3D software you already know.

Define the exact 2D appearance for every named object.

Apply the same standard to every project, automatically.

Everything happens from a 3D model: your drawings are ready, with no exporting or manual cleanup.

The missing link between 3D and 2D

Occlusia gives your 3D model the 2D rendering it lacks

  1. 01Your 3D model

Made in your favourite 3D software, detailed to suit your needs.

  2. 02The missing link

Whatever it is, a 3D model never produces a clean 2D drawing on its own: no hatching, no line types or weights, no cut symbols.

  3. 03Occlusia makes the link

Without changing anything in the model, you precisely configure the 2D rendering of every 3D object: hatching, cut symbols, line types and weights, colours.

  4. 04A complete, controlled drawing

A simple example: the same 3D model, from your favourite software, becomes a drawing ready to export as PDF, SVG or DXF.

Full graphic control

BIM-like consistency, without leaving your preferred 3D tool

Define the complete appearance of every named object: line colour, weight and type, hatches, and much more. Seen or cut, the same object is not drawn the same way, so each state gets its own configuration, with exactly the same settings on hand.

Illustrative schematic: the real inspector offers more settings still.

Cut symbols

A symbol on every cut object

For any cut object, you can define a cut symbol. Configure OBJ1 with the cross symbol, and every cut geometry of that object is drawn with its cross, in every section. The insulation symbol draws the batting motif architects know well, which no hatch could ever express: it follows the element’s thickness and length, right through its corners. A symbol is added to the graphic rendering, not instead of it: hatch, scale, background and line colour stay under your control, and the symbol has its own colour, lineweight, line type and transparency, with a dedicated DXF layer.

Cast shadows

Turn shadows on Master their rendering

From a defined section, switch shadows on or off in one move. You then control the sun precisely — azimuth, altitude — and the shadow’s 2D graphic rendering: pattern, colour, opacity, with the same depth as the rest of your standard.

The Scope setting decides where shadows apply: in the section of an enclosed volume, keep only the exterior shadows or draw the interior ones too.

The shadows of your 3D model become precise, customised vector linework, exported to SVG, PDF and DXF along with the rest of your drawing.

Dynamic annotations

Annotate in the model The drawing follows

Place texts, section marks and levels straight into your 3D model: Occlusia reads them and draws them to your standard. Every text is finely tuned — font, style, colour, size — and can carry variables such as #level or #height, replaced automatically by the level and height measured in the model. The sections present in the model appear with the mark style of your choice. Colours, lineweights, line types, layers and many more settings: the whole style stays under your control.

A straightforward workflow

Set it once Reuse it for every project

Your graphic standard is saved as a reusable configuration. Apply it to a new project as you like: objects with known names get their parameters back, and your drawings are ready automatically. And this is one of Occlusia’s great strengths: the same 3D model can take several graphic renderings depending on the configuration loaded. Several people work on the same model, and each applies their own standard at export, without changing or redrawing anything.
  1. 01

    Sync your model

Keep the model from your preferred 3D software connected with Occlusia Link, or simply import your 3D model.

  2. 02

    Set your standard once

Match rules to object names, your groups in the 3D model, then define exactly how each one should look.

  3. 03

    Generate and export

Apply the configuration of your choice: every object with a known name inherits its standard across all sections — ready for PDF, SVG, or DXF export.

Always in sync

The model changes The standard stays

Re-import your model or let Occlusia Link push your changes: the configuration stays put, every object gets its settings back and your drawings regenerate.
  • Changes

A model edited and reloaded keeps its configuration: same object names, same settings, nothing to configure again.

  • Occlusia Link

From SketchUp or Blender, every change lands straight in your sections, with nothing to redo.

  • New sections

A section added to the model already comes out in your graphic standard, ready to export.

  • Renaming is enough

A concrete-block wall has to become terracotta? Rename the object in the 3D model: every section regenerates with the rendering configured for that name.

DXF · PDF · SVG export

One configuration, several identical exports

Create your own layers with every DXF property there is — name, colour, lineweight, line type, transparency, plot, freeze, lock — then assign them: a layer for cut elements, for seen elements, for hatches, symbols and blocks. Every object leaves with its settings, own or ByLayer; hatches are written as real HATCH entities, blocks stay blocks. The DXF arrives exactly as you configured it: nothing left to clean up.

In PDF, customise each section’s page layout and merge them into a single document. In SVG, get a highly faithful vector file, structured like the model you configured.

Cloud CLI · APIComing soon

The same engine, without a graphical interface

Occlusia is preparing command-line and API access to its engine: send a model and a configuration, get back DXF, PDF and SVG identical to the application’s, from a script, a pipeline or an AI agent, on any machine.

  • Automation

Your models flow through one after another and come out with their drawings ready, without anyone opening the software.

  • Artificial intelligence

An agent that builds a 3D model gets exact 2D documents out of it, in your standard, in the blink of an eye.

  • Integration

A developer? Build your own tools around the API and push your workflow as far as it goes.
