Terms of Sale
These terms govern the purchase of credits for an Occlusia account on the website occlusia.app. They complete the Terms of Service, which govern the use of the service itself. Each purchase is governed by the version accepted when it was made.

The seller
Credits are sold by the publisher of Occlusia:

Online payment is not open yet. It opens once the seller's enterprise is registered; its number, geographic address and telephone number will be published here before the first sale.
02
What credits are
- Credits are prepaid units held on your Occlusia account. They pay for the paid operations of the service: today, the exports — SVG, DXF and PDF files, PNG and JPEG images.
- They never expire.
- They are not money: they cannot be transferred to another account, sold, exchanged or paid out, except through the refunds these terms provide.
- Credits received without paying — the welcome credits, a gift from Occlusia — have no cash value and are never refunded.
- When credits are spent, the free ones go first, then those of your purchases, oldest first. That order decides which credits of a purchase are still unused.
03
Prices
Prices are in euros and include taxes. They are listed on the pricing page: packs, which give more credits for the price, and a custom amount of credits at the unit price. The price you pay is the one shown on the payment page before you confirm.
Accounts created during early access pay 15% less on every purchase, during the early-access phase and for 12 months after it ends.
04
What an export costs
- Each export costs the number of credits the price list sets for its format, per drawing or, for a PDF, per sheet. The cost is shown before the export starts, and an export is never charged more than it showed.
- An export Occlusia's servers fail to produce is not charged.
- The same drawing, unchanged — same view, same settings, same page setup — exported again in the same format within 24 hours of its paid export is free.
- If your browser fails to save a file after its credits were taken, export the same drawing again within 24 hours: it is free. Otherwise, write to us: the credits of an export that could not be delivered are restored.
- The cost of an export is raised only after at least 30 days' notice by email. Until the higher cost applies, you may ask for the refund of your unused paid credits, whatever the age of their purchase. A lower cost applies at once.
05
Ordering and payment
- You choose a pack or an amount under Account → Credits, accept these terms, and ask for your credits to be added at once. You then pay on the secure page of Stripe, our payment provider; Occlusia never sees your card details.
- The contract is concluded when the payment is confirmed. The credits are added to your account at that moment, and a confirmation is sent to your email address with the main clauses of these terms and the withdrawal information. The invoice is available under Account → Credits.
- A payment that fails or is abandoned charges nothing.
06
Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days, without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day the contract was concluded, that is, the day of the payment.
Because the credits are added to your account at once, at your express request, you acknowledge when you buy that you lose your right of withdrawal for the credits you use. Withdrawing from a purchase therefore refunds the credits of that purchase not yet used, in proportion to the price paid; credits already used are not refunded.
To exercise this right, use the Withdraw button beside the purchase under Account → Credits, which shows the amount refunded before you confirm; or inform us of your decision by an unequivocal statement, such as an email to hello@occlusia.app. You may use the model form below, but it is not obligatory. To meet the deadline, it is enough to send your statement before the period has expired.
If you withdraw, we refund the value of the unused credits of that purchase without undue delay, and at the latest 14 days after the day we are informed of your decision, using the same means of payment as you used for the purchase, unless you expressly agree otherwise; the refund costs you nothing. The refunded credits leave your balance.
This right is given to every buyer, consumer or not.
07
Model withdrawal form
(Complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract.)
To Rudy Borgniet, hello@occlusia.app:
I/We (*) hereby give notice that I/We (*) withdraw from my/our (*) contract for the purchase of the following Occlusia credits:
Bought on:
Name of consumer(s):
Email address of the Occlusia account:
Address of consumer(s):
Signature of consumer(s) (only if this form is notified on paper):
Date:
(*) Delete as appropriate.
08
Other refunds
- Deleting your account under Account → Settings offers the refund of your unused paid credits, whatever the age of their purchase; deleting without it forfeits them.
- If Occlusia ends the service, or closes your account for any reason other than fraud or a serious breach of the Terms of Service, your unused paid credits are refunded.
- A refund returns the value of the unused credits of each purchase, in proportion to the price paid for it, to the means of payment used. If that means of payment can no longer be refunded, we make a bank transfer.
- A refund or a payment dispute made through your bank takes back the credits it covers. If they were already used, your balance goes below zero, and exports stop until you buy credits again.
09
Welcome credits
Every new account receives 30 credits once its email address is verified, once per person: an address that already received them — on an account since deleted, or written another way — does not receive them again, and Occlusia may withhold them to prevent abuse. They have no cash value and are never refunded.

If something goes wrong
Your statutory rights for digital content and services apply in full. If an export or a feature you paid for does not work as described, write to us: it is delivered, or its credits are restored or refunded.

Governing law
These terms are governed by Belgian law. As a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and may bring a case before its courts.
